We asked Shelly a few questions about what brides should keep in mind when deciding on a hair stylist:
What is one thing you wish brides would remember when it comes to their hair and makeup?
Hair and makeup is so important for the “BIG” day! We realize that. However, something a bride should keep in mind is what she wants to look like that day! So, does she want her hair half up or half down? Does she want picture perfect eyes, or maybe very subtle makeup? At the time of the practice hairstyle and makeup day, be sure to bring in pictures of what you have in mind, that way we can make sure to achieve the most awesome results!!!
What makes your salon and the styles you do unique?
At Oh Baby, I am most proud of having an amazing, talented staff. We can achieve all that our brides want. Some of the updos we have done are amazing! I am also most proud of providing a very professional, yet fun atmosphere! We have so much fun at the salon that it rubs off onto our clients! You just can’t help feeling amazing there!!!
What is your advice to a bride as they look for a style for their “Big Day”?
Take into account what your dress looks like. Is your dress simple, busy, off the shoulder, etc.? This will determine how your hair should look to even out what your attire is.
