Who in the world are they? 

No doubt, you have read our “About Page” and know that we joined forces four years ago as a team.  Yet, some in our team have been in the “Wedding Biz” for up to twenty years now.  Yikes, I hate saying that it makes me realize how Old we are getting. So, please allow me to introduce our team:  from left to right we have Senior Planner Mary Gonsalves, Senior Planner Margaret Moore, Senior Designer Julie Schumann, and Senior Designer Miranda Davis.  The cool thing is that we are Mother Daughter teams, you probably were saying, “Wow they all look like sisters, those Moms look so Young.”  Right!   We are a planning decor design team.  Miranda and I (Margaret) are full time at this.  We work as a very harmonious team.  Our job is to organize and plan the day of events and create a day that reflects who you are as a couple.  We are passionate about what we do.  We truly believe it is a privilege to be invited into someone’s life.  You see this is a memory that you will have for the rest of your life and we will be part of that memory.  We feel that that is a heavy responsibility.  We work with our clients for months.  We hear their dreams, their fears.   We sit and listen to their problems.  There are time we sit and hold their hand when they cry because of some difficulty they are having with “Uncle Bob who is causing problems…”   We try to make sure that the focus of the day is the wedding, not problems.  We want our brides to think about each other, their guests, how lovely the flowers are, not how to get the reception ready.  The commitment to customer service is primary with Simple Elegance Events and Wedding Designs, just ask one of our brides.

You will be faced with decisions about everything from invitation wording to planning of the honeymoon.   How do you get the most for your money? The average wedding can take more than two hundred fifty hours just to plan. With today’s hectic lifestyles, you may not have time to compare all the options, making sure you get the best deal, and make sure all the details are in place.   Our job at Simple Elegance is to analyze your budget, supply you with vendors that fit within that budget to make your day a reality.  You will receive a budget excel sheet to track all of your expenses from beginning to end.  SE will provide you with comparison worksheets of vendors with prices and options available.  These comparisons are updated constantly to make sure our brides have the most current prices available, saving hours of time.  This is our job.  This is what we do full time.  The more you do something, the better you are at it.  We are constantly refining the way we prepare brides for their wedding to make sure it is the most cost effective and the most memorable.   We are not here to make decisions for you, but to guide and assist you in making informed decisions. We work at allowing you to use our training, knowledge, and experience into turning your dreams and expectations into reality. We want you to host a beautiful and distinctive event, one which you can enjoy.
