KRISTEN & BRETT
Kristen and Brett’s ceremony and reception was at Starved Rock Lodge. It was the perfect blend of rustic beauty. Seth Morris Photography flawlessly captured the sweet love between the Bride and Groom and the fun friendships with their Bridal party, along with all the other little details. They danced the night away to music by Glass Slipper Entertainment under the glow of the Edison bulbs lights draped in the Starved Rock Room by Suez’s Linens and Things. It was a wonderful event and Simple Elegance Design was privileged to provide help with planning, day of coordination, decor rentals, floral, set up, and tear down.
STEPHANIE & CHRIS
When Stefanie first contacted us she was interested in using both our planning and design services. She knew she would be extremely busy and unable to focus on all the details of her wedding. She had a beautiful vision of a rustic yet colorful wedding. She and Chris had picked a gorgeous venue, St. Mary of the Woods College in Indiana.
The bride her family and friends collected Ironware, Pillars, Mercury Glass and so much more to make this wedding beautiful. Their hard work paid off as everything came together to make a gorgeous display on each table. Using burlap runners and sashes gave a rustic feel, while the flowers added a splash of color. Simple Elegance created the colorful centerpieces using a mixture of Peonies, Protea, Stock, Snapdragons, Alstromeria, and Football Mums.
April & Jamie
April and Jamie had a beautiful reception in their backyard in Maroa, IL . We were fortunate to be able to be a part of all the planning from the very start to the last to leave. April had a vision of sage green and shades of purple. They wanted to celebrate the coming together of their family. A sweet ceremony was held at their family church in town. Guests were able to ride Golf Carts just a few blocks to the reception. Their reception was held in a large tent in their back yard. Games were set up for guests to enjoy. Sarah Jane Photography captured all of the details beautifully!

Molly & Chris
Chris and Molly’s day was filled with so many thoughtful details. Their guests enjoyment and comfort was a priority. This wedding was so much fun! From the 300 balloons, Unique Twist Balloon Artist, Coffee Bar, Milk and Cookie Bar, and many other special touches their guests felt a part of the day. Molly’s bouquet was very special as it was made using Zinnias that her father had grown. Molly and her mother, Marie worked hard to make sure there were no details overlooked. They along with many other family members folded over 1400 paper cranes. Even the groom got involved by surprising his bride with special camo cranes for himself and the groomsmen at the head table. This elegant rainbow of colors reflected the joy and happiness of Chris and Molly.
Hailey & Chase
Hailey wanted a wedding full of glitz and bling. Her colors of Sapphire Blue and Blush Pink were a beautiful combination. She and Chase held their ceremony at Second Pres. They were taken to their reception by Randy the horse from Hileman Carriage Company at Bloomington Center for the Performing Arts. As a unique twist on the dollar dance, they held a lip sync battle with their Bridal Party. It was definitely unforgettable! Images by Kristi Lee Photographe
