You have always dreamed of your wedding being in a beautiful garden, or down by the lake everthing is perfect. NOT. I hate to break it to you that there is a fifty/ fifty chance it will rain. It may or it may not, so dream of the perfect wedding but have a back up plan just in case. Better safe than Sorry!
Every spring, people begin to congregate outdoors for all types of events. From March to October, ceremonies, receptions and combinations of the two escape their winter cocoons and take Mother Nature up on her dare to join the fun. However, many brides forget to take the necessary precautions that go hand in hand with their weddings’ union with the Great Outdoors.
It is a lovely November afternoon in Chicago. You’re driving home from work and you hear on the radio, “Extra Alarm Fire today in Oak Lawn’s Eva’s Bridal Shoppe leaves brides scrambling after hundreds of wedding dresses were destroyed when the longtime bridal shop went up in flames.” What do you do?
You have everything set and the unthinkable happens, you have to change your wedding date, or worse yet you have to cancel your wedding. You had everything set and all the contracts signed. NOW WHAT? Never say Never, things in life happen so the time to prepare for any possible changes is in the beginning. KNOW what you are signing. Always, always, and I will emphasize it again ALWAYS read and understand the cancellation clause.
