Weddings are a fantastic time for friends and families to get together and enjoy life. We have all at one time or another lost someone to cancer or some other awful disease. Every bride wants her wedding day to be special and unique not only for her and her spouse-to-be, but for guests as well. After the financial investment and what can add up to hundreds of hours of planning for one day, who wouldn’t want people to leave saying, “What an amazing wedding!” Wouldn’t it be wonderful if they said, “It was so wonderful to see them give to…..” Weddings, they are a time to remember the real meaning of life but they can also be a time to give back. This is such an important issue to me that I just wanted to share with you a few more places where you can help.
I know I have mentioned Angel Heart Farm. You can sponsor a child for only $150 for the year. When you watch the video you can see how happy these kids are. Many of them have already lost their fight to cancer. One small donation can give them a smile even if it is for a short time.
Wish Bone Canine Rescue’s mission is based on Nathan Winograd’s No Kill Philosophy, which

We all want the same for all our furry friends, so we are asking you to support HSCI in our year-end campaign. Every year, HSCI helps discarded pets like Millie get proper care and new families. We do this for over 1,000 pets every year!
Will you make a year-end, tax-deductible donation to help meet HSCI’s year-end goal of $70,000? In addition to your year-end gift, please consider becoming our HSCI Hero by committing to a monthly, tax-deductible, recurring donation. It’s a great way to make a difference and help save more unwanted and abused pets in Central Illinois!
HSCI Heroes has big news! Become a Hero today by committing to a monthly recurring donation and – thanks to the generosity of lifetime HSCI supporter Kay Richardson – the total of monthly gifts from you and your fellow Heroes will be matched dollar for dollar, up to $5,000, for the first year of donation. If you donate Kay’s suggested amount of $25 per month (which is only $300 per year), she will match that and donate $300 to HSCI immediately!
Please help HSCI take full advantage of this match. Let’s not leave Ms. Richardson’s generous matching gift on the table! If you have ever thought of giving a monthly gift to HSCI, NOW is the time to do it!
